It's a boy if:

•You are carrying the extra weight out in front
•Your belly looks like a basketball
•You are carrying low
•You are craving salty or sour foods
•You are craving protein - meats and cheese
•Your feet are colder than they were before pregnancy
•The hair on your legs has grown faster during pregnancy
•Your hands are very dry
•Your pillow faces north when you sleep
•Dad-to-be is gaining weight too
•Pregnancy has you looking better than ever
•If you hang your wedding ring over your belly, it moves in circles
•You are having headaches
•You add your age at the time of conception and the number for the month you conceived the number is even

It's a girl if:

•You crave sweets

•You don't look quite as good as normal during pregnancy
•You are moodier than usual during pregnancy
•Your face breaks out more than usual
•You refuse to eat the heel of a loaf of bread
•Your pillow faces south when you sleep
•If you hang your wedding ring over your belly, it moves from side to side
•If you add your age at the time of conception and the number for the month you conceived the number is odd

July 1st

Our 16 week appointment! We heard the heartbeat and it was going strong at 159 beats per minute! Some people may think that might mean baby dugger is a girl but you never know. Baby Dugger gets less and less room as he/she grows. You are able to see the profile and the spine in this photo! These photos are hard to read but oh so fun! I wish I had one of these machines at my house so I could see baby Dugger all day long!

June 1st

Our 12 week appointment! Baby Dugger was kicking up a storm that day so we were able to see him/her in action! The head is to the left and the legs are on the right. The lil peanut was doing karate moves right and left.

May 6th

We saw our peanut for the first time! I know there isnt much to see but baby Dugger is all there! This was our 8 week appointment!

April 19 2009

The day is special to us now in two ways! It is our wedding anniversary and the day we found out we were expecting! Knowing that something might be up, I tested to reasure my feelings and was I right! While Steve was working on the front yard before our anniversary plans, I quickly put together a cookie cake and some balloons to surprise the new dad to be! After the surprise we went straight from anniversary mode to "what to expect when you are expecting" mode! Still in shock we told our families! They all were just as shocked and excited as we were! This will be the first grandchild for both of our parents. Please enjoy our blog!
